Namaz, also known as Salah, is one of the five pillars of Islam, emphasizing the importance of ritualistic prayer in the life of a Muslim. It is a sacred act of worship and communication with Allah, performed five times a day at prescribed intervals: Fajr (dawn), Dhuhr (midday), Asr (afternoon), Maghrib (evening), and Isha (night).
Each prayer consists of a sequence of physical movements and recitations, including standing, bowing, prostrating, and sitting, while reciting verses from the Quran and supplications in Arabic. These actions symbolize submission, humility, and devotion to Allah.
